It cures poor circulation, colds, fever, jaundice and rheumatism, and in the form of an herbal tea it has been given to women in labor. Compresses soaked in WORMWOOD tea are recommended for bruises, irritations and sprains. WORMWOOD OIL acts as a local anesthetic when used to relieve the pain associated with arthritis, neuralgia and rheumatism. Used in this way, the oil exerts antifungal and antibacterial activity. The least of its side effects is that it may cause dermatitis in some users. When POWDERS OF WORMWOOD are combined with powders of marigold flowers, a sprig of marjoram and thyme, and are anointed onto the body with a small quantity of virgin HONEY and vinegar, dreams are enhanced.
